Lifel1k3 Book Review | sprinkledpages

Hi friends! I’m back to share with you a review for Lifel1k3 by Jay Kristoff. If the name sounds familiar to you, Jay has written many books including the Illuminae Files (read my review of Illuminae here) and Nevernight Chronicles.

I was very excited to receive an ARC of this book because I adore Jay’s previous work and the book’s tag line was very intriguing to me. Keep reading if you want to hear my thoughts on the story!

Circe Book Review | sprinkledpages

WOW it’s been a while! Sorry for my absence between posts. I have been super busy with school and the rest of the time, I have been creating content for my YouTube channel so I've been slack about blogging. Oops.

Today I’m going to be sharing with you a review for the gorgeous Circe by Madeline Miller. If the name sounds familiar, you may have read her other novel The Song Of Achilles which was a huge hit in the literary world and she recently came out with her second novel, once again Greek mythology inspired, which I’m going to be sharing a spoiler free review!

Also can I just take a moment to say a huge thank you to Bloomsbury Australia, for not only sending me one of the prettiest books I own, but for packaging it so well and putting effort into presentation. You all spoil me!

Goodbye Perfect Book Review | sprinkledpages

Hello everyone! Today I'm going to be sharing with you a no spoiler book review of Goodbye Perfect by Sara Barnard as well as a Q and A with the author! You can read my review of her previous book A Quiet Kind Of Thunder here!

Goodbye Perfect is the third book by UK writer Sara Barnard. The story follows Eden and her best friend Bonnie. Eden and Bonnie have been best friends for a very long time and despite being polar opposites, they are super tight, the types of besties that tell each other everything. Until one day when Bonnie decides to run away with her boyfriend without telling Eden. Things get worse when the police show up at Eden’s doorstep and she finds out her best friend’s boyfriend is also their school teacher. Sworn to secrecy and bound by loyalty, only Eden knows Bonnie’s location and that’s the way it has to stay. There is no way she can betray her best friend, not even when the police are questioning her, not even when Bonnie’s disappearance ends up on the front pages of every newspaper and not even when she has her own suspicious growing doubts.

I know I haven’t been very active on my blog recently, and I’m really sorry about that, but I have been quite busy on my YouTube channel so make sure to check that out! I did recently share my bookish goals of 2018 as well as the best books of 2017 and the worst books of 2017 so make sure to click on those words if you’d like to watch those videos!

Anyways, today I’m going to be sharing with you a spoiler free book review for Foolish Hearts by Emma Mills. I have reviewed one of her previous works This Adventure Ends on my blog, which you can check out if you’d like!

Let’s just get started before I continue to ramble! (And wow, it feels so good to be typing out a blog post after so long, I didn’t want you to think I’d abandoned you all!)

Unearthed Book Review | sprinkledpages

Hi friends!

It’s been quite a while wow. If you don’t keep up with my social medias, you may not know my extended absence was due to having exams for the past month which I was SO stressed for but now they are done and I finally have some time to read and review.

Today I’m going to be sharing with you a spoiler free review for Unearthed which I was so, SO excited to receive an ARC of because it is written by Amie Kaufman and Megan Spooner, both who are super cool humans and authors of the Starbound trilogy which I really enjoyed.

This was another sci-fi but other than that, I didn’t know anything about it before I began. And safe to say, but I really enjoyed it and this comes from someone who is not a very huge sci-fi reader.
Fans of Sleeping Giants will ADORE this book!

Tower Of Dawn Book Review | sprinkledpages

Hi everyone!

Today I’m here to share with you my spoiler free book review for Tower Of Dawn by Sarah J Maas. This is the sixth book in the Throne Of Glass series and I recommend not proceeding with this review if you haven’t read up to Empire Of Storms because spoiler alert (it’s ok if you haven’t read Empire Of Storms though!)

While this is the sixth book in the Throne Of Glass series, instead of being from Celaena’s perspective it follows Chaol’s story as he journeys to the Southern Continent after the events of Queen Of Shadows. This book occurs alongside Empire Of Storms.

This story is told in three perspectives, mainly Chaol’s however it is also told from the perspective of Nesryn, who was a minor character in Queen Of Shadows but plays a bigger role in this book and Yrene, who is a new character introduced to the series however her story is part of the Assassin’s Blade novellas.

I was super apprehensive about going into this series. If you know me AT ALL you’ll know how much I dislike the Throne Of Glass series (although Crown Of Midnight was ok!) and that I was very apprehensive about this story, especially since Sarah J Maas had done Chaol QUITE dirty in the past. Chaol is also one of my favourite characters EVER and I was so worried that she would continue to disfigure his personality and I thought it was very unfair that after dissing him for so long in the series, she suddenly wanted to give him his own book.

But I was curious so I did pick it up and here are my thoughts!

Please note, I am not going to be talking about the disability representation in this as I won’t be able to comment but read this review if you want an #ownvoices review for the disability representation in this.

Renegades Book Review | sprinkledpages

Hey friends!

Today I'm going to be sharing with you a no spoiler book review for Renegades by Marissa Meyer! Marissay Meyer is also the author of The Lunar Chronicles and Heartless (read more: Heartless no spoiler book review) and I've read all of her work except for the novellas and short stories.

I was quite excited to read her new book because I know she had the potential to do an amazing job and books about superheroes get me SO excited but as you can tell by the title, I wasn't a fan of this one.
