I know we can often get stuck in a rut when it comes to new blog post ideas - trust me, been there, done that! I know how frustrating it can get sitting at the computer, fingers poised over the keyboard and then absolutely stuck for ideas. That's why I came up with a whole list of no-fluff blog post ideas that most bloggers can use which'll keep your readers coming back for more!

1 | RECIPES 

This is such a basic idea. Share one of your favourite sweet treats, savoury dishes or afternoon snacks with your readers. It's lots of fun to prepare, shoot and then eat at the very end! I love baking on my blog and then sharing the recipes with my readers. They also happen to be some of the most popular posts on my blog.

Examples: Although I have an entire page with recipes, the Healthy Blueberry Pancake, Malteser Cupcake and Oreo Cookie Slice have to be my favourites.

2 | BLOGGING TIPS AND TRICKS

Most readers are bloggers themselves, who have sites and posts of their own. Share some of your blogging experience or tips about how you started the blog, or found time to shoot and edit posts, where you got ideas from etc. It'll be a favourite for sure.

3 | BOOK REVIEWS
I love reading and I try and incorporate my passion for it on my blog as well. I like to share some of my book for the month on here as well as write a short review about why I loved it. Try that on your blog too! Choose a book that you've read and write about what some of your favourite things about it and who else should read it.

4 | FASHION ESSENTIALS 

Hit up some of your favourite online stores and collect images of some of your favourite clothing items. You can use Photoshop to create a huge collage of them or post them one by one on your blog. Either way, it's a fun activity and helps readers see what's out there in the market.

5 | SHARE FREEBIES 

Freebies are a great way to draw new visitors to your blog. Everyone loves cute things for free! Share printables, wallpaper, blog tutorial codes etc. I made a collage of cute iPhone wallpapers and it's views still continues to increase.

6 | GIVE ADVICE

Share some life advice, experience, that sort of stuff. Talk about what it's like moving schools, making friends, managing blogging and schoolwork, contacts etc. Pick something that is relatable and can apply to most of your readers.

7 | HAVE A DEBATE

Trust me, this is a lot more interesting than it sounds! Talk about two different sides to an argument such as is technology beneficial to our lives, whether skirts or shorts are the better option in summer or the debate about women rights and although you may not be able to come to a conclusion, it'll get you and your readers thinking.

8 | PHOTO EDITING TIPS / APPS

Give your readers a little sneak peek into how you edit your Instagram photos or blog images. Show them some of your favourite apps and programs and maybe even what functions you use as in the brightness, contrast, highlights and all.

Example: Best Apps For Editing Photos & 5 Easy To Use Apps For Beautiful Instagram Pictures

9 | HAUL POST

Write about your recent purchases from a store. It could be anything; clothes, shoes, decor items. Avoid listing items. Instead, share how you plan to dress the outfit, use the item etc.

10 | HEALTH TIPS AND DIYS

Do a little research, look on Pinterest and write a post about how to be healthier, maintain health and make facemasks etc. It'll not only be informative for you, but also the reader.

11 | RECOMMENDATIONS 

Share some of your favourite books, music, TV shows, movies etc. It'll help your readers learn more about you and connect on a more personal level and also be a great post!

12 | CREATE A LOOKBOOK

Compile a few of your favourite outfit ideas (try and base it on a theme such as the season, music festivals, holidays etc).

13 | FAVOURITES

Whether it be a monthly favourites, a yearly favourites, a music festival favourites etc share some of your essentials items/products/songs/books/movies.

14 | SHARE ITEMS / SPACES

Share some of your favourite decor/design items or spaces. Quick tip: use Pinterest as they have heaps of amazing pictures! You may wish to check out my interior or decor boards which could get you started on creating some of your own!

15 | DIYS

Do you know how to make something really cool and easy to recreate? Share it! Take a few pictures and write the instructions and hit publish! I know I love DIYs (especially if they're easy and to do with decorating my room).
