Bakery Style Chocolate Chip Muffins
There are two types of chocolate chip muffins in this world; the home made ones and the enormous, bakery style ones! Now, although the home-made ones are absolutely yummy, I decided to show you exactly how to get the big and soft bakery style chocolate chip muffins you may see in stores.
These are just as easy to make as home made ones with ingredients that are probably easy to find or already in your pantry! Plus the bakery style chocolate chip muffin is perfect for a breakfast treat, snack and afternoon nibbling. Keep reading to find out how to make it!
BAKERY STYLE CHOCOLATE CHIP MUFFINS
PREP TIME: 25 mins | COOKING TIME: 18 mins | MAKES: 12 - 13 large muffins
INGREDIENTS
- 1 cup milk
- 1/4 cup vinegar
- 2 1/2 cups plain flour, sifted
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 2 large free range eggs
- 1 tbsp vanilla
- 1 1/2 cup chocolate chips
METHOD
- Preheat oven to 425 F
- Grease a muffin tin with non sitck cooking spray
- In a small bowl, pour milk and vinegar and let it sit while preparing the remaining ingredients
- In a larger bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and sugar
- Add the butter, eggs, vanilla and the milk and vinegar mixture
- Stir
- Fold in the chocolate chips
- Fill each muffin tin almost to the top
- Bake at 425 F for 5 minutes
- Decrease tp 375 F and bake for another 13 minutes
- Once done, remove from the oven and allow to cool
- Serve it up once completely cooled
