Rebel Of The Sands No Spoiler Book Review | sprinkledpages

Hey lovelies!

Today I am bringing to you a no spoiler book review for Rebel Of The Sands. I was really drawn to this book because of the cover and I'd heard such lovely things! This had been mentioned in my September Wrap Up which I published yesterday, which you can also check out for more of what I've read this month!

Rebel Of The Sands by Alwyn Hamilton is a unique, diverse read set in the beautiful backdrop of a desert.

Keep reading for more!

September Wrap Up | sprinkledpages

Hey lovelies!

Today I’m going to be sharing with you my September wrap up! I know it’s not technically the end of the month yet but I wanted to have this out a little bit earlier so I wouldn’t be rushed at the end of the month.

So it was a pretty great reading month for me! I read a grand total of twelve books this month which is awesome and I am really, really happy with it. I discovered a series that I really loved, I got to check out some pretty cool ARCs and although there were books I didn’t love a whole lot, overall, it was fantastic!

Books | sprinkledpages

Hey lovelies!

Today I’m going to be doing a different sort of post which isn’t book reviews, recommendations or tags! I’m going to be chatting about book spines!

It sounds a little silly, I know, but just bear with me. Book spines are really important! They are often the only thing you can see of a book in a bookshelf whether it be in a library or in a bookshop and they are what really draw a reader into reading the book, whether it be the font, colour or image on them!

I know that the inside of the book is just as important because that is what really makes the book but I also believe that we need to show some love to the wonderful cover designers who really make the book come alive and make it aesthetically attractive and pleasing.

But basically, I’m going to be chatting about some of the awesome book spines on my shelf (and a little about the books themselves!).

Recent Reads #1 | sprinkledpages

Hey lovelies!

So I really wanted to do a recent reads post since it was half way through (or more than half way through) the month because to be honest, I’ve barely read anything from my TBR *cringes*.

However, I have been reading a lot so I wanted to share some of the books I’d read! These aren’t all of them because they’ll all appear in my monthly wrap up but some of the earlier ones. If you do want to keep up to date with what I’m reading, what I thought of the book and my rating for it, feel free to follow me on Goodreads!

My chat about these books is going to be fairly brief and spoiler free, because I have done book reviews (also spoiler free) for them which I will link alongside which you can check out for an in-depth review!

This also contains a lot of ARCs however, let me just say, everything stated in my reviews and in this post are my thoughts and opinions and publishers send books to bloggers for an honest reviews and we are allowed to give negative reviews (which I have in the past).

Now that that has been cleared up, let’s just get started!

The Evolution Of Mara Dyer Book Review | sprinkledpages

Hey lovelies!

The Evolution Of Mara Dyer by Michlle Hodkin is the second book in the Mara Dyer trilogy such an awesomely creepy and thrilling story and I loved every second of reading it! If you have not read the first book in the trilogy, I suggest you don't read this review as it may contain spoilers for the first book!

I have done a spoiler free book review for the first book which you may want to check out instead if you want to know more about book one.

Anyway, keep reading for my spoiler free review and more about the book.

Hey everyone! Today I'm going to be doing the super fun and exciting netflix book tag!

I thought it was an extremely creative and fun tag so I had to try it out even though I wasn't tagged. It had also been a while since I'd done a tag and I missed it! I saw this on Green Eggs And Sam's YouTube channel but it was created by Accio Books!

Books | sprinkledpages

Hey lovelies!

So a week back, I did a post on some of my to-read fantasy books in paperback and you guys quite liked it so of course, I had to do another part to it of my to-read fantasy books but this time in hardcover!

Feel free to check out my to reads in paperback also for more bookish recommendations!

And before there is more confusion, these books are probably in paperback too but the copies I have are in hardback so I decided to split these up that way!

This is different from my TBR list because I’m not sure when I’ll read them but they are on my to-be-read shelf and that’s all I know, haha! But maybe I will have a chance to read them this month because I haven’t been able to read much from my TBR anyway!

Let’s just get started!

To Read Fantasy In Paperback | sprinkledpages

I thought it would be a fun idea to chat about some of the fantasy books I am dying to read that are in paperback (also in hardback but I have paperback copies of them). This is different from my TBR because I don't know when I'll be reading them but I had the sudden urge today just to talk about some books without doing a review or recommendation so here I am!

I was thinking about doing another part to this where I chat about some of my to-reads in hardback so let me know in the comments below if you'd like to see that happen too!

Rainbow Rowell | sprinkledpages

Hey everyone! Hope you're all having a lovely day today!

So you may have heard me talk *cough* fangirl *cough* about meeting Rainbow Rowell on my Twitter and Instagram two weeks ago (it feels like ages ago tbh) and it was such a fun experience because I honestly love her!

I've read all her books and have enjoyed every single one of them because they're so funny, interesting and enjoyable, which is why I decided to do a author appreciation post on her! I've done one of these before with Jandy Nelson's books where I talk about it more in detail but basically, it's where I chat about an awesome author and all their works!

Jandy Nelson | sprinkledpages\

Hey there!

Today I'm doing something a little different and that is an author appreciation post! These are some of my absolute favourite authors and just a way for me to chat about an author of choice that I really love and some of their books.

The author today is Jandy Nelson who wrote I'll Give You The Sun and The Sky Is Everywhere, both of which are such beautifully written stories about love and loss. They are expressed in their own individual ways and are such a rollercoaster ride of a read!

Jandy Nelson is an American young adult writer who prior to her writing career, worked as an agent for 13 years. She specifically writes contemporary and has written two books, with no news of a third.

I have done book reviews on both of these books where I talked about them more in detail which you can check out for a in-depth chat of the plot, characters, writing and idea just so I don't repeat the same things here that I wrote there!

Throne Of Glass Series Discussion | sprinkledpages

I've been meaning to do discussion posts on my blog for a really long time now. They're basically unstructured posts (because if you've seen my book reviews, you'll know I take structure seriously) where I chat about books but including spoilers and everything and is aimed at those who have already read the book.

So on that note, if you haven't read the Throne Of Glass series (Throne Of Glass, Crown Of Midnight, Heir Of Fire and Queen Of Shadows), do not read this review because it will contain spoilers! However, I have done spoiler free book reviews which you can check out to read my thoughts on the book!

Related: Throne Of Glass, Crown Of Midnight, Heir Of Fire and Queen Of Shadows Book Reviews

I have been wanting to do a discussion on Throne Of Glass specifically because I have so many thoughts to share on the series and since I wasn't able to share them in my spoiler free reviews, I'd have to do it here! This is also a way to celebrate the upcoming release of Empire Of Storms, the fifth book in the series!

Anyway since this has been such a huge intro, let's begin!

Highly Illogical Behaviour No Spoiler Book Review | sprinkledpages

This is was very first ARC (advanced reading copy) and when I saw it, I screamed for joy because it's pretty cool when you recieve your first ARC! (But that doesn't change my opinion on the book whatsoever, my review is completely honest and I was not paid to say any of these things).

I quite liked this book for the witty characters and the funny dialogue. The banter between the characters had me laughing, as well as the characters themselves. It was a unique and enjoyable read overall, but keep reading for my in-depth review to see what I thought!
