Hard to believe it's going to be September! I feel like it was just yesterday that I was writing a to be read list for August. But the good thing about a brand new month is brand new books to read, which is always exciting!

I have a lot of TBRs this month and I don't know if I'll stick to the list or be able to read them all but we shall see! Also, stay tuned for book reviews for most of these books, which will come after I read them!

Also, if you would like to see some of the awesome books I managed to read this month, you can check out my August Wrap  Up!

Let's get started!

August Wrap Up | sprinkledpages

Okay, wow, how is August already over? I swear I was just doing my July wrap up and August TBR yesterday. I feel like when you look back at the years and the months they seem to fly by yet the hours and the days go quite slow.

Books

I am quite happy to say I got a fair amount of reading done in August. I also got some of my friends that didn't read very much into it, which is always a win because reading is #awesome!

Hey there! I hope you're having a lovely day. Today I am going to share 5 young adult series that you absolutely must read! These are from any genre, however, if you would like, for another post I can do genre specific series.

I have done book reviews for some of these which I will link below if you want to check those out. I have also ordered the series from 5 being the worst and 1 being the best. Do note, by worst, I mean from the list. And this list is about amazing book series. So the book that is the 5th is not bad in the slightest.

Let's do this!

Me as the ruler of books, complete with my own flower crown!

The Ruler Of Books tag seemed like such a fun and exciting tag to do that I had to try it out! It is a fairly simple one where you answer set questions about being the ruler of books as the name suggests.

It was created by Ariel Bissett and although I have not been tagged, I thought it would be fun to try out! And I tag whoever is reading this. Ways you can do this tag are through a blog post, video, written below in the comments, any form of medium you would like, basically.

If you want to check out some of the other book tags I have done, they include the Aussie Book Tag, The Intimidating TBR tag and the Mid Year Book Freak Out Tag!

Top 8 Amazing Books Of 2016 | sprinkledpages

Hey there! Today I am sharing the top 8 books of 2016, half way through the year. I am planning to do the other eight at the end of the year so it adds to 16 (as it is currently 2016). These are books I have read and loved this year. I have done book reviews on most of these and will link them so you can check those out if you wish to.

It has been so hard to only choose eight and as I look through my favourites shelf on Goodreads, I am already wincing at the thought of narrowing it down. Let me know if you want to me to do a similar post where I discuss some of my favourite books overall where I include the books I didn't get to include in this post.

I have also numbered the books, eight being the least liked of the list and one being the most. However, do note that I absolutely adored all the books on this list and it was very hard for me to order them. And when I say least liked, I mean from the list! And note that these books are the top 8 books from the entire 67 I have read this year.

Without further ado, let's get started.

The Great Dragon Bake Off Book Review | sprinkledpages

How exciting! This is my very first picture story book review and although most of my book reviews are on young adult books, it’s nice to go back to the basics and read something with lots of illustrations and little text because it takes me right back to my childhood.
The review is a lot shorter than some of the others I have written just because the book itself is very short and it is a picture story book, intended for children, therefore is quite simplistic. However, it is very cute and older readers will enjoy it!

Books | sprinkledpages

Let me begin by saying that I promised myself not to write any more blog posts today cause I have so much homework I could literally be swimming it in but then I saw this on Head In Her Books (aka Jananee) blog I knew I had to do it because #patriotism!

I won’t go so far as to say I enjoy eating vegemite (I really don’t) or have a koala as a pet (I really, really don’t although I wish I would) but I am Australian, I love Australia and its really saddening to see how little Aussie YA there is!

And although this tag isn’t the cure to fixing the Aussie YA problem, I thought it would be fun to do! I tag anyone reading this to do it, if you’re Aussie. And if you’re not, do it anyway because it’s fun.
To make it extra hard for myself, I am not going to be repeating characters or books because I know I tend to do that and I want to talk about a variety of books!

And if you want to check out some of the other tags I have done on my blog, they are the Intimidating TBR tag and the Mid-Year Book FreakOut tag, both of which were lots of fun to do!

A Court Of Mist And Fury No Spoiler Book Review | sprinkledpages

A Court Of Mist And Fury by Sarah J Maas is the second book in the A Court Of Thorns And Roses series. It is a thrilling, beautifully written and crafted series with splendid characters an an unpredictable story line.

I do not recommend reading this review if you have not read the first book as it may spoil the first book. I have done a no spoiler book review for the first book which you can check out!

Hi there! Today I'm sharing with you the 10 books that look super awesome. This is a little bit different from my TBR because I don't have plans to read them all yet but when I saw the blurb, I couldn't help but feel that they'd really shape up to be awesome.

This post is also quite similar to be Intimidating TBR tag which you can check out if you want to see some other books on my TBR list, along with these ones. I have also done an August TBR which you can see for more book suggestions.

Let's get started!

The Winner's Curse | sprinkledpages

Hi there! Today I’m going to be doing another tag and this one is the Mid Year Book Freak Out! This is a little past the mid year (2 months actually) but I saw this tag and it looked like so much fun so I decided to do it.

This tag was created last year by Readlikewildfire and ElyJane. I have not been tagged but I decided to do it anyway. I tag everyone reading this to do the tag! You can either do it in your own blog post or video or write it in the comments section below! Make sure to send or tweet me the link because I love seeing other people’s responses.

Let’s get started.

Harry Potter And The Cursed Child No Spoiler Book Review | empoweredinternetwomen

WOW! I have been waiting and secretly praying for the day that J.K. Rowling decides to change her mind about never writing the Harry Potter series again and I am so glad she did! Since I finished the series in 2011, I have not been able to pick it back up for the fear that once again I'll get lost in the Harry Potter world and not be able to come out.

When I heard there was to be a new Harry Potter book, I jumped for joy! And I was so excited to get my hands on it and when I did, I dug right in! And when I finished, I wrote this review.

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is the eighth book in the series written by J.K Rowling, Jack Thorne and John Tiffany. And I use the term book loosely as it isn't a novel. It is written as a script the same way Romeo and Juliet was. I do not recommend reading this review if you have not read the other seven books in the series.

If you are one of those people who have not read the other Harry Potter book, do read them because they really are lovely and well written and I absolutely adored them! I do not have reviews for them on my blog because like I said before, I did read them a really long time ago but I am sure there are lots of other reviews floating around on the internet that you can find.

But anyway, just keep reading to see what I thought of the book.

The Intimidating TBR Tag | empoweredinternetwomen

Oh hey there! Today I am doing my very first tag post! This is super exciting because I have seen so many book tags on the internet but haven't participated in any! I know this is a slightly older one but I thought it was a cool idea and I wanted to give it a try.

I saw this tag on Hailey LeBlanc's YouTube channel. You should check her out because I think she's a lovely booktuber and has awesome videos!

And just before we start, I tag anyone reading this to also do this tag! You can do it on your own blog, Instagram or in the comments section below because I love seeing other people's responses.

Books | empoweredinternetwomen

Hey everyone! Today I’m doing something a little new and that is starting a ‘to be read’ books series. Every month (that I am able to) I’ll be able to share the books I am planning to read. I’m not sure if you guys like this style of posts and if anyone will be interested in reading them but I thought it would be a good idea to give it a try.

So onto the books I am planning to read during August! There are quite a few and hopefully I'll be able to read them all and post reviews for you! Let's get started.

Fangirl | empoweredinternetwomen

Hello August! I cannot believe how fast the months have flown. It's ridiculous to think we're more than half way through the year.

Anyway, today I'm doing my July wrap up post! This is the first time I'm doing something like this and it is mostly experimental but let's just get started, shall we?
