Tis' the season! I'm super excited which is why I decided to whip up this batch of Christmas themed sugar cookies! These are super crunchy, sweet but not overly sweet and 100% festive! These are perfect for people coming over, giving as a present or eating in front of the TV while watching Christmas movies (like I did! No shame!) Also, it helps that they're super easy to make which works well because the Christmas time is always super hectic!

Without further ado, let's get started!

I have always been a big fan of the good ol' cheesecake! I had been looking for the perfect recipe that was easy to make and wasn't too fatty and after searching and searching and searching, I finally found it! The mini baked cheesecake is light easy and tastes delicious. It also makes a great dessert to be served to family or friends (or you can eat it all yourself like I did!).

Writing killer blog posts can often be a challenging aspect of blogging. It can be quite disheartening when you spend time and effort writing a post only to find that it barely got any views/comments. I know it was something that happened to me a lot during my third or fourth month of blogging and after a lot of research and thought, I finally understood why, which is why I decided to share with you some of my ways to write better blog posts that promote blog growth.

Healthy And Easy M & M Oat Cookies | empowered internet women

Now I don't know about you but I love cookies! I love all types, flavours and variations. However, I have noticed that often cookies can be quite sugary, buttery and all round fatty, which can sometimes take the fun out of eating (and enjoying) them.

Butttttt..... I have a solution! The delicious, easy, healthy and super quick M & M Oat Cookies! Wow that was a mouthful. These are generally better than full blown chocolate cookies because they have oats, which I feel makes these a lot better for you and more filling.

chocolate chip cookie cream pie

Now  I don't know about you but I love me some chocolate chip cookies. And when I found the recipe for the mouth watering chocolate chip cookie cream pie, I nearly died and went to heaven (before I tasted it. After I tasted it, I did die and go to heaven!). With a firm, chocolate chip cookie dough base, layers of whipped cream on top and a mini chocolate chip cookie on top, it's the most amazing baked dessert I've had.

no bake oreo cookie fudge

The no bake Oreo cookie fudge is probably one of the nicest, sweet treats I've had in a while. The small, bite sized portions it can be cut into and the sweet flavour make it perfect as a pick me up at the end of  a long, hard day. The best thing about it is that it only requires three ingredients to make and will probably last you 1-2 weeks. Plus it is no bake meaning you don't have to worry about leaving it in the oven too long and burning it (which has happened to me before. More times than I'd like to admit!)

15 No Fluff Blog Post Ideas To Increase Blog Views | empowered internet women

I know we can often get stuck in a rut when it comes to new blog post ideas - trust me, been there, done that! I know how frustrating it can get sitting at the computer, fingers poised over the keyboard and then absolutely stuck for ideas. That's why I came up with a whole list of no-fluff blog post ideas that most bloggers can use which'll keep your readers coming back for more!

1 | RECIPES

This is such a basic idea. Share one of your favourite sweet treats, savoury dishes or afternoon snacks with your readers. It's lots of fun to prepare, shoot and then eat at the very end! I love baking on my blog and then sharing the recipes with my readers. They also happen to be some of the most popular posts on my blog.

Examples: Although I have an entire page with recipes, the Healthy Blueberry Pancake, Malteser Cupcake and Oreo Cookie Slice have to be my favourites.

2 | BLOGGING TIPS AND TRICKS

Most readers are bloggers themselves, who have sites and posts of their own. Share some of your blogging experience or tips about how you started the blog, or found time to shoot and edit posts, where you got ideas from etc. It'll be a favourite for sure.

chocolate chip muffins

There are two types of chocolate chip muffins in this world; the home made ones and the enormous, bakery style ones! Now, although the home-made ones are absolutely yummy, I decided to show you exactly how to get the big and soft bakery style chocolate chip muffins you may see in stores.

These are just as easy to make as home made ones with ingredients that are probably easy to find or already in your pantry! Plus the bakery style chocolate chip muffin is perfect for a breakfast treat, snack and afternoon nibbling. Keep reading to find out how to make it!

In case you haven't been outside in a while or live in a particularly warm house: winter's approaching. It's okay though because that just means a whole lot more time to bake, or watch TV or read.

I am the kind of person that loves, loves, loves to read. I cannot remember a stage in my life where I did not read. I do know that there are some people out there who don't read (and I can't seem to figure out why) and some people who want to read but just do not have the time to.

With that thought in mind, I came up with a few of my favourite reads (please know that it was very hard for me to choose). These mostly come under the teen fiction category but are extremely compelling and lovely books worth reading.

1. All The Bright Places by Jennifer Niven - If you have read some of my previous posts, you'll know that I mentioned this in my April favourites and April book of the month.

Warm water and lemon

I am all about the healthy living. When you're healthy, your body feels good. And when your body feels good, so do you. Warm water and lemon is something I recently discovered during my time on the internet and I was eager to try it. Not only is it great as a detox water, it's amazing for the body and has many health benefits.

HOW TO DO IT:  Grab a glass and fill it with warm water. Avoid cold or hot water as it is harder for our bodies to digest it. Squeeze in half a lemon (more or less, depending on how you go) and drink it up. It is most beneficial in the morning but can be drunk any time of the day.

Malteser Cupcakes

The Malteser cupcake is one of my favourite sweet treats. With its soft, moist base, delicious vanilla buttercream frosting and even more Maltesers on top, it is one of the most scrumptious ways to eat maltesers! Other than just being absolutely heavenly in the mouth, they are also very easy to make and no fuss. And I bet most of the ingredients used are already lying around in your kitchen! Anyway, I'm going to stop my rambling so we can get started!

Hey guys! So I don't know about you but I love cookies. I love to make them, I love to eat them, I love the way they make everything better instantly.

With that thought in mind I decided to show you how to make the best cookies ever. And yes, they are called that (well I call them that anyway.) I'll be honest here, I've had my fair share of mishaps in the kitchen with burning or not sifting or butter exploding in the microwave but these cookies are so easy that anyone can make them. Trust me.

They are also super delicious and I'll admit, they aren't the lowest in fat but having one or two a day won't harm anyone. Promise.

Anyway, let's begin shall we.

Continuing on from the previous book of the month post (which you all seemed to love!) I have a brand new book to share with you all! Hope you enjoy and if you have some book recommendations for me or a book you'd like for me to review make sure to leave that in a comment below!

Halo by Frankie Rose

Halo is a Young Adult book I found while scrolling through the iBookstore. I was instantly drawn by the synopsis and decided to download it. I’ll admit, I was a bit sceptical about the book and it was lying in my library for a quite a while before I decided read it.

I have to say though, I regret not having done it earlier.

For this month, it is going to be All The Bright Places by Jennifer Niven which is my favourite book of all time (even though I just read it this month - it just goes to show how much I love it).

One of my favourite things recently has been cookie dough. I love the taste and texture so I decided to make my very own cookie dough truffles using this recipe.

This is honestly so delicious so beware as it may result in a bad tummy ache if eaten all at once!

I know there has been a lot of debate about e-books and hard copy books. Some people tend to prefer the soft copy and easily transportable e-book while others like the tangible hardcopy which they can carry around and flick through. More than general preferences, many scientists have also researched the effects of both on health and wellbeing.

I happen to be one of those people who enjoy both, e-books and hard copy books. They both have their advantages and disadvantages which is what I will be discussing in this post.

As of late I have been trying to be healthier by changing my diet, workout routine and sleeping schedule. And since I always start my weekends with pancakes (usually from the pre-made mixes which is very unhealthy) I decided to try out a new recipe which are the blueberry greek yoghurt pancakes.

I thought this would be a perfect breakfast idea for the autumn because it is warm, healthy and tastes really delicious and comforting.

Mini Blueberry Greek Yoghurt Pancakes
